An AFTRS alum, Davie Paterson is an Australian writer and director, known for ‘A Stable for Horses’ (2025), making its Cannes debut at the Marché du Film in 2026. He was Grand Prize winner at the coveted Shore Scripts Feature Competition in 2020 for 'The Blind Sea' and is a two-time winner of the UK Film Festival Script Competition, winning in 2016 for 'Cottontail', then again in 2020 for 'American Lights'. His pilot 'Stone Ponies' is also currently in development as part of the 2026 Screen NSW Development Program.
