Maggie Miles

Maggie had an Award-wining stint as Artistic Director of Corrugated Iron Youth Arts, in the Northern Territory, where she wrote critically acclaimed plays Branded (1995) and Worry Dolls (1994). Maggie was Company Director and Senior Producer of Burrundi Pictures, a co-producing entity on the feature Yolngu Boy (2001). She produced features Van Diemen’s Land (2009), The Turning (2013), Paper Planes (2014), Force of Destiny (2015), Guilty (2017), which she co-wrote, and High Ground (2021). These all world-premiered at top international and Australian Film Festivals. Maggie directed the documentary Dare To Be Different (2015) and is currently writing her first screenplay.
