The Screen Guide

A special documentary to mark the 50th anniversary of the ABC from 1932 through the era of radio to the early days of television, and up to the 1980s. The program features still pictures and archival footage of early radio stations; ABC war correspondents at work; post-war radio shows; some original television programs and highlights of current affairs and entertainment programs. Interviews are presented with Sir Charles Moses, Sir Talbot Duckmanton and Professor Leonie Kramer.
