The Screen Guide

Much has been said about traditional education systems, but little about alternative forms. Open File looks at the Benedict Community School, where courses are specially designed to meet the needs of early school leavers who could not cope with traditional learning methods. The school aims to encourage the development of students as individuals, and prepare them for transition into the workforce. The emphasis is on working outside the classroom, in work experience and community service.
