The Screen Guide

Albatross, Pedra Branca and Mewstone Islands are small windswept outcrops off the Tasmanian Coast. But though they seem inhospitable, they're ideal breeding grounds for colonies albatross and gannett. Fifteen years of surveying the islands have convinced wildlife researcher Nigel Brothers the food supply of these birds is threatened by what, he suspects, is overfishing of macrell, squid and krill in the surrounding waters. If his work can prove the seabirds aren't getting enough food from the ocean, Nigel hopes to have fishing limits changed to meet wildlife as well as human requirements.
