The Screen Guide

Of all the ripping yarns of entertainment in Australia, by far the most fascinating is that of the relationship between ABBA and Australia in the 1970s. The story behind ABBA's arrival on the world stage centres on Australia and has never been told. The only clue we have of the band's fondness for us is the strangely named song Bang-a-Boomerang. We now return the favour with a documentary of the same name – a humorous, passionate and poignant evocation of ABBA's time in Australia.
