Best friends, Laurelyn and Addison, are visiting Addison’s brother, Ben, in Wagga-Wagga, where they plan to spend three months vacationing. On a night out, the mysterious Jack sees Laurelyn singing and instantly becomes enamoured with her. After persistently pursuing her, Jack suggests over dinner that they should ignite a no-strings romance for the time that Laurelyn is staying in Australia. Although Laurelyn is dubious, having just come out of a heartbreaking relationship and initially offended by the casual relationship he is suggesting, the idea begins to grow on her. From the second she agrees to seeing Jack, Laurelyn is thrown into a world of wealth and luxury, visiting Jack’s lavish winery and stately mansion, as well as taking trips to Sydney and New Zealand. As Laurelyn’s return to America draws near, she becomes more and more aware that her feelings for Jack have eclipsed the ‘no-strings’ label they agreed to. Unsure if the burgeoning love she feels is reciprocated by Jack, a heartbroken Laurelyn chooses to secretly fly home early rather than risk having her heart broken further. This leaves a gutted Jack behind as he realises too late that he’s fallen in love with Laurelyn, but has no way to contact her.
