The Screen Guide

Curt and Micheline Jenner and their two year-old daughter Micah live on a catamaran 'Whalesong', designed for watching humpback whales. They run an organisation called, The Centre for Whale Research (WA) Inc. established in 1993. They set out to conduct scientific research into marine mammals. They believe they have discovered the calving place of the humpbacks. We film the Jenners and their team of volunteers as they follow a pod of humpbacks to this location and film a pregnant whale giving birth. This film will show humpbacks in this unique situation and at the same time tell the Jenners story.
