The Screen Guide

High in the Himalayas, two old climbing partners, now almost 80, are still roped together on a climb without end. An inspiring tale of an amazing 50 year partnership, the first ten years with an ice axe, the last 40 with a hammer. This moving film features Sir Edmund Hillary, the first man to climb Everest, returning in his eightieth year to continue his work among the Sherpa people of Nepal to whom he has dedicated the last 40 years of his life. In that time he has built and maintained 30 schools, two hospitals and many health clinics, countless bridges, two airfields and several monasteries.
