The Screen Guide

During World War II, 2500 Australian and British prisoners of war were sent from Changi in Singapore to be used as forced labour in Borneo. Only six Australians survived the 'Sadakan Death Marches'. This special features interviews with veterans and relatives, some of whom made a memorial pilgrimage to the Island of Borneo in March 1999.
