The Screen Guide

THE BIPOLAR BEARS are a rock band with some serious issues. Depression, drug addiction, schizophrenia and of course, bipolar disorder. Started as a music project run by the City of Port Phillip, in their 15 year lifespan they've improved beyond the council's wildest dreams and the Bears goal is to achieve recognition outside the mental health sector. For each of the band members the band is their lifeline, it's the reason they get up in the morning. The stability of the band is paramount and keeps each of the members sane and able to function.
