The Screen Guide

William T. Cooper is a world-renowned wildlife artist, described by Sir David Attenborough as “the best ornithological illustrator alive.” His obsessive attention to detail and desire for perfection has led to his mastery in the field.In his 80th year, 30 exquisite works are created for his final exhibition. Filmed over two years at his studio, this documentary traces Bill’s evolution as an artist, from a childhood interest in John Gould’s Book of Australian Birds, to preparations for his show.
