The Screen Guide

BIRTHDAYS is a quirky, happy, human and utterly non-obstetric film about birth. It's about what Australians know of their own births - which for many is precious little - told by people on the street, in pubs, workplaces, cabbage patches and underground caverns. It is a new way of looking at the birth process and the enormous variety of stories to be told - one for every person that has come into this world.
