The Screen Guide

A documentary about women who do not live with their children. It looks at the beliefs generated by a society which promulgates a narrow definition of motherhood. It is about secrecy and collusion with families and communities. Personal testimonials from five women who have relinquished children for adoption reveal the price some women must pay for transgressing the sexual codes.
