The Screen Guide

In the 1960s, a group of people in Melbourne dedicated themselves to an Aboriginal funeral service. They provided a means for those who had no money or resources to pay their respects to their deceased family members. This story, told by Gary Murray about his father John Stewart Murray, takes us back to those days and the people given the responsibility of driving the dead to their final resting places in their own country. From the Message Stick series.
