The Screen Guide

It’s been more than 3 decades since Australia stopped whaling and became an advocate for the protection of these magnificent creatures. Scientists, researchers, conservationists and those raising research funds though industry – have all become dedicated to the rescue of the whales. And their efforts have been rewarded with the partial recovery of one of the most iconic of the whale species – the great humpbacks. This documentary looks at the extraordinary efforts of a diverse range of people and their vital and various roles in the conservation of the whales.
