The Screen Guide

CALLAHAN: HE WON'T GET FAR ON FOOT profiles the life and work of the controversial cartoonist, John Callahan. A quadriplegic since the age of twenty-one, Callahan has been cartooning for over 20 years, turning a sardonic eye to all manner of sensitive subjects including physical disability, alcoholism and psychiatric illness. The documentary features an interview with Callahan and is illustrated with a selection of his cartoons and clips from his animated short film 'I Think I Was an Alcoholic', and television series, 'John Callahan's QUADS!'.
