The Screen Guide

Julienne is an independent and colourful character, living in the picturesque Victorian village of Maldon, Australia's historic central gold-mining town. She is the mobile librarian, and for the past 18 years Julienne has covered a beat of 120 square kilometres, driving a semi-trailer carrying thousands of books to remote communities. Julienne has discovered a lump in her breast, but five weeks after having it removed, the cancer has spread...she is told she has only a matter of months to live. Surrounded by those closest to her, Julienne sets about organising her life and death.
