The Screen Guide

Set in a declining rural community, CHILDREN is based on a short story by Pulitzer Prize winner Richard Ford. The film shows three teenagers who are thrown together through an unusual circumstance, and explores how they relate to each other and the world. 'It was the place itself as much as the time in our lives, or our characters, that took part in the small things that happened and made them memorable.'
