The Screen Guide

As the world anxiously watches an ever-changing China, these programs show China's most vulnerable aspect, the ethnic minorities of her remote and beautiful south-west. It includes rare footage of the Tibetans of Yunnan, in Zhongdian on the Tibetan Plateau. This is one of the most sensitive political hot-spots in the world today as it is a major gateway to the Golden Triangle for drug-runners supplying international illicit markets, as well as being a major religious centre for the Tibetan Yellow-hat Sect Buddhists. The program also includes the graceful Dai people, the Yi and the Bai minorities.
