DOG PARK might start like a buddy comedy between a misanthropic man and an unwanted dog. But when Roland is adopted against his will into a cosy community of dog owners, his world expands. This mixed pack of dog-tragics are loyal, helpful, funny and even tolerate Roland’s chronic dark cloud. They each have their own worries and quirks but being together, like the dogs they love so much, means looking out for each other. Even Roland concedes that there might be some benefit in community, not to mention the possibility of new love. At a time when it’s needed most, Dog Park is a feel-good story of love and licking, and doing good for the sake of it.
