The Screen Guide

The moon has fascinated people for millennia. It is a strong feature of myth and legend across many cultures throughout history, but since man set foot on the moon, have we lost our sense of mystery and fascination with this ever-changing object which dominates the night sky. DRAWING DOWN THE MOON looks at the symbolic nature and science of the moon. The program presents the views of six people each of whom regard the moon as a central part of their work. From astrophysicist and astronomer to tarot teacher and planetary midwife, DRAWING DOWN THE MOON challenges all of us to reconnect with the moon in some meaningful way.
