The Screen Guide

The story of two people who gave up everything to live together on a deserted island. She is 68, a writer of paperback romances; he is 72, a retired British Naval Commander and war hero. They are Eleanor and John Alliston, two people so much in love they want only to be by themselves. And for 31 years they have done just that - struggling to survive on one of the most ruggedly beautiful islands off the Australian coast, Three Hummock Island, off north-west Tasmania.
