The Screen Guide

In 1997, Australia's first Indigenous Protected Area, or IPA, was declared at Nepabunna Aboriginal community near Leigh Creek in South Australia. Ten years on, there are now 24 IPAs covering a total of area around 20 million hectares across Australia, and they're recognised internationally as one of Australia's great environmental success stories.
