The Screen Guide

A study of bush environment and psychic effects of landscape. An 'ambient' film. On a wet October morning we drove along a ridge of sea. In the valley, in a hunted skyline. Into full view. Mid-morning. Landed on the island. It has been reported that the island is moving, gradually, away from the mainland. The sand is blown, grain by grain, at the rate of about one inch per year. Ochre grass. We were picking up the static in the mist on the radio. The substation now out of range. The October noise from the black swamp.
