The Screen Guide

Features the Darwin Symphony Orchestra on a tour of the Northern Territory (Australia) where we meet members of the orchestra as they prepare for performances. The orchestra plays at some of the most spectacular natural, outdoor, exotic concert 'halls' of the world such as Katherine Gorge, Yellow Water, Obirri Rock, Glen Helen Gorge and Tennant Creek. Under the glittering Northern Territory night skies, the orchestra thrills the audience with renditions of classic pieces from their extensive repertoire as well as specially commissioned work by Peter Sculthorpe featuring classical guitarist John Williams.
