The Screen Guide

The Koala, that unique Australian marsupial, is in danger from disease, and from threats to its habitat. In Port Macquarie, New South Wales, a small group calling themselves The Koala Society have teamed with the National Parks and Wildlife Service to fight for an environment that people and animals can both enjoy; and in Brisbane, university vet Doctor Steven Brown is making the public aware that all is not well with koalas.
