The Screen Guide

In this short black comedy film, we see John Moroney, a respectable public servant who fantasises himself as a hero, destined to save the soul of an endangered girl from the clutches of prostitution. His heroic images are played against the contrasting background of a suburban massage parlour where the women are revealed as who they are. As the film progresses to its climax, it is apparent John's actions speak louder than his sentiments. In the final scenes we see him standing on the precipice of choice - tottering between lust and noble conscience.
