The Lost Wax Process of bronze casting has existed since 500BC, yet the method is like its name - every new disciple must in some way reinvent the process and in doing so, reinvent themselves. Phillip Piperides is a rare sculptor who has established his own Foundary in Brisbane. For him, mastery of the technique has involved a journey through memory, and an understanding of his own process as an artist.
