The Screen Guide

Amcor's Recycling Paper Mill has been an intricate part of Broadford for 107 years - the town has virtually grown around the Mill. Its closing down will have a catastrophic impact on the economy and identity of this country town. This documentary film follows the workers and the community in their attempts to influence Amcor's decision and try and keep this profitable Mill going. It explores the politics of the closure and tries to find out why the Mill is being shutdown.
