The Screen Guide

In travel guidebooks, Thai ‘long neck’ villages are described as human zoos, where tourists pay money to gawk at women with brass rings around their necks and take photographs. But behind the wall, three young ‘long neck’ sisters want to challenge their fate and live in the modern world. Now, these sisters may have the chance to come to Australia as refugees. Will the process of making a documentary hold the key to all the women’s final decisions about whether they leave or stay?
