The Screen Guide

Five years after the fall of the Berlin Wall and the collapse of communism, NEW WORLD BORDERS takes a long hard look at today's post-Cold War reality. With constraints of communism out of the way, capital and labour are now free to move across the globe in search of profit. As we venture into the 21st century, the mass movement of people around the world makes traditional borders much less significant and the biggest issue nations have to deal with is that of coping with cultural diversity. This documentary asks whether this can be done in peace and harmony.
