The Screen Guide

For five billion years the planet Jupiter has kept its secrets to itself. Now, in the closing years of the 20th century, we are set to discover what our most important neighbour is really like. On 8 December at around 10am Sydney time, the Jupiter probe carried by the Galileo space craft began its descent into the Jovian atmosphere. This documentary reveals what scientists hope in the wake of the Voyager odyssey and the Schumacher-Levy comets' collision with the planet.
