The Screen Guide

Denise and Colin Payne operate a packsaddling business in a tiny township in the Upper Macleay valley, taking people of all ages by horseback into the country they love. Colin Payne took reporter Niree Creed on a special journey to explore this beautiful valley, once a vibrant and bustling place of tin miners, timbermen and bullockies, now the isolated home of rambling cattle stations where traditional hospitality is always present to welcome the traveller.
