The Screen Guide

An international team, skippered by American river runner Gary Bolton, become the first people to raft through Tibet. The expedition begins on the Rhongbuk Glacier on Mount Everest and takes us through uncharted valleys to the Tibetan capital, Lhasa. Along the way, the team visits many villages never before seen by foreigners and records their ancient rituals such as sky burials. There are many moments of high action on the river, a true first in that these waters had never been traversed before, the rafters literally having no idea of what to expect around the next bend.
