The Screen Guide

Pursues adventures across the South Pacific, from the Solomons to Tahiti, looking at how sharks are revered. In the Solomons many islanders are animists believing their dead relatives have reappeared in the form of sharks. In the Marovo Lagoon islanders perform pagan dances around a sacred shrine, culminating in amazing scenes of sharks leaping out of the water to be fed. In Tahiti a local Tahitian adventurer rides the sharks completely fearlessly, all set to stunning Tahitian scenery.
