The Screen Guide

SHOOTING THE BREEZE deals with the infectious nature of violence and the degradation of innocent witnesses. Greta and Ritchie's unseen neighbours fight in the next-door apartment. The violence seeps in through the wall and the window. Greta is driven to help, Richie is driven to mind his own business... and we are plummeted into the tangle of relationships and the implicit support demanded between lovers. The stress catapults Greta and Ritchie into their own violence.
