The Screen Guide

We are all alone, bound by solitude, yet liberated by limitations. SIGNAGE examines the working and personal life of Jodie, a 23-year-old deaf woman who works at a supermarket in Carlton, Melbourne. Jodie does not regards her deafness as a disability; she sees herself as being part of a linguistic minority. In multicultural Australia, her experiences are both personal and universal. In essence, SIGNAGE aims to explore our ways of communication.
