The Screen Guide

Sports Resource Productions, in association with Impact Images Australia, Youth Sports Foundation and J & I Film Finance presents a moving story about an ultra-marathon race across Australia's famed Simpson Desert. The documentary includes stories of interest on the dunes, the flora and fauna, the history of desert exploration and interviews with Aboriginal elders in the region. It is an emotional story, looking at the physical and emotional courage displayed by competitors and support crews, who found themselves part of a motivational epic played out under extreme environmental conditions.
