Based on a true Australian story, John Pope, host of a fictitious Australian television talk show, and his 'straw-drawn' assistant get hold of real video footage of an amazing story. An internet chat room conversation leads Adam and Suzanne to a perfect wedding and the happy expectation of their first child. The simple pregnancy becomes a nightmare when medical staff complicate the birth, whereupon Adam takes control. An angelic midwife appears and everything seems perfect until arriving home, when post-natal nurses make daily home visits. Gossip about a child withering away spreads through the community.
