The Screen Guide

This is a film about a group of adventurers who trek through the centre of Australia to some of the last frontier wilderness regions in the country. The journey takes us through the sunburnt semi-arid regions of the famous Australian outback. They visit the crystal clear tropical pools at Mataranka mineral springs, and the majestic winding river through Katherine Gorge and into the world heritage listed Kakadu National Park. The final section of this wilderness adventure takes us to Lawn Hill National Park in north-west Queensland. Along the way the adventurers are joined by selected Australian entertainers who make it their mission, as they tour the outback and northern reaches of Australia, to raise awareness of the Children's Leukemia and Cancer Foundation.
