21-year-old Afro-Punk Elsie has been supporting her charming but inadequate father, Robert, ever since her mother walked out on the family five years ago. Elsie is smart and ambitious with her street hustling while sad but stupidly optimistic Robert, dabbles in sketchy get-rich-quick schemes. When Elsie finds out her father is 25K in debt, she decides to help him raise the cash. But with an unhinged gang of debt collectors on their trail, they have to carry out a series of increasingly serious crimes to help him raise the money, all the while fumbling through their dysfunctional relationship. The question is, will helping Robert bring about Elsie’s downfall or will Elsie and Robert find a way to save each other?
