The Screen Guide

The story of a new breed of man in Australia's cattle country - the airborne stockmen, known as 'The Drivers'. They're 20th century cowboys who fly helicopters, and their job is to get stock out of the bush and into the yards. 'A Big Country' flies with The Drivers for the last and largest muster of the season on one of Australia's biggest stations, Victoria River Downs. The action is fast and furious, as helicopters race the clock to push scrub cattle to the yards before dark.
