The Screen Guide

After 50 years, Ernie Leonard, film producer and grandson of a Maori chief, is learning what it means to be a Maori. He heads the Maori television unit at the New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation, where he teaches his team the techniques of making television programs. In return, they tutor him in the ways of his people.
