The Screen Guide

THE LAST COMING OUT is Australia's first feature length look at AIDS and HIV. It looks at the multicultural communities of Australia, showing how they've been affected by the disease and examining Australia's multicultural gay community. The program looks at how in Australia, more than any other country in the world, AIDS is a gay disease with 93% of all cases. It examines issues such as homosexuality, homophobia and racism, suggesting AIDS and these issues have been inextricable.
