The Screen Guide

Over the course of two years this documentary charts the mounting of a new Cambodian symphonic stage work that premiered in Melbourne in 2017. The film interweaves heart-wrenching, first person accounts of survival from those involved in the musical collaboration, which was created to honour nearly two million Cambodians who died under the Khmer Rouge regime and to celebrate the renaissance of a lost artistic life.
