The Screen Guide

Few places on Earth have such a staggering variety of flowering plants as the sandplain heaths of south-west Western Australia. This area has become a tourist mecca. Thousands of visitors from around the world come to see one of nature's most spectacular performances — for a few months each year these normally drab heathlands explode into a mass of living colour — a sea of wild flowers. Rewards are also available for the commercial exploitation of these flowers.
