This compelling journey documents the extraordinary relationship between Aboriginal women, the Dreamtime and the Earth. Nganyinytja, a tribal leader from central Australia,a opens up her homeland, sharing its secrets and significance. Djakminy of the Dhuwa tribe weaves the stories of the Dreamtime into her baskets, grieving that her knowledge will die with her. The Martu women of the remote western deserts are struggling to gain the right to live on their territory undisturbed. The land is their life-blood. Aboriginals hold the key to the land. They are singing the song lines to keep the land alive and fighting to save it from the mining companies.
