The Screen Guide

YODELLING SWEETHEARTS is a road film that takes the audience on a journey into the world of Australian country music yodellers. It features some great performances from Australia's finest women yodellers and we hear many a good tale. The film takes a look at the history of yodelling in Australia through the eyes of the pioneers. We discover what a yodel is and just how difficult it is to master a good yodel. The film celebrates the tradition of family in country music. We hear the stories of how these women travel and perform all over the country-side with family in tow. And of how musical traditions are passed from one generation to the next.
