The Screen Guide

A deadpan comedy of teenage love gone wrong. Sensitive 17-year-old Mick O'Brien reluctantly cross-dresses and joins an all-girl band in a hopeless attempt to reunite his family. He falls in love with lead singer Angela who, jilted by one too many lying men, is flirting with lesbianism. She's hot for Mick, not just because he is cute and talented but, being a woman, Mick is sure to be honest.
